Before I start a review, I have to mention three things: apparently, the screenshot function is deactivated in the game (maybe because of a license problem that can emerge from screenshots), so I have to apologize for the quality of “screenshots”, hopefully it is good enough to see the problem. The second is, no matter whether you are someone who is fit and with an active lifestyle or not, warm up before playing this game.
Finally, I feel it’s important to say: you can play with one of Joy-Con (you only need one per person) or telephone. I played with Joy-Con because in my TV room Wi-Fi was rather dense and Joy-Con was quite comfortable in my hand.
Now, let’s review. First Settings:

Unfortunately, this is where I am disappointed with the option. Everything is just a switch option (in other words, you only have an option to live and die). So in my case, I have activated the lyrics and pictograms, but there is absolutely no option for customization. I think I will be able to adjust at least the size of the lyrics, which is not the problem. I want to have at least two options offered: size and position.

Because the lyrics are set, it is difficult for me to read it while paying attention to the pictogram because they are on the opposite side of the screen. Not to say that they could hardly be read mostly time for me, due to the lack of contrast between text and background and super small size. Even playing on TV and standing a few meters away, too difficult to read when I just focus on reading it, without playing/dancing at all. Although I feel useful they highlight in the karaoke style that you can follow what is sung, it is very difficult to read while dancing because of the size and position determination.
For me, it will be perfect if they are bigger and placed on the pictogram, so it will be easier for me to track both of them. Actually it will be useful for me to learn lyrics and even associate certain words with dance movements, so it will be easier to memorize the entire choreography. I can never memorize the lyrics because I don’t understand it, but JD2020 can be a very good way for me to memorize lyrics and dances.
Piktogram has proven to be useful for me, because this is actually the first time I played a fair dance in my life. And because I can’t hear well even with hearing aids (because mine will clean up any sound in an effort to make it clearer to understand, but with songs, this is almost always a boomerang), I cannot follow the beat with the ears, having a pictogram is a great visual guide about how I should execute the movement.
This review is short, because there isn’t much to be discussed, because this is a completely different genre from FPS or strategy. I feel this game is very visual as much as possible, which is good for me, because I always become more visual people. It’s easy to understand what steps I should take and also fun and challenging. Basically, this game is true for the name: Just Dance. There is no communication in the game between players, because you play solo or local home. I still need to get the chance to play all Stars mode, but first -first, I need to increase my movements!
