I am Alexia, born with progressive hearing loss (at this time, a big defeat due to left and heavy loss in the right ear) and although I call myself deaf right now, I have lived more below the perspective of hearing loss that is difficult for most of my life, but in the game I usually play with no game (I have no game (I have no game (I have no game, but with no game (no Lidayse no. There is still an area to be improved.
I will start with the settings that I think are relevant for deaf players/hoh: audio. In some of them, I will also mention aspects of gameplay related to the settings. As you can see below, the settings are duplicated in three tabs, interfaces, audio, and accessibility:

Not always or on options for subtitles and names of speakers like other games. I will be happy to be implemented later with patches, but I realize that it might not be possible or happen so fast, but still good, at least there is a subtitle. Because the enemy always chatted with others, and your character also talked quite a lot to themselves, which made me ask me whether they commented on something about the environment or just react vocalically to pain, fatigue, etc., that did not appear in the subtitles.
I only know they are talking if I play with sound, which is a gameplay problem for me, because it is more difficult to immerse myself in the story and understand what is happening with my character. Not to mention the NPC who speaks that might say something relevant or interesting, that I will not have access to that information because it does not appear in dynamic subtitles, while someone who hears will have access. But as I said, it was a gameplay problem for me, and maybe not for others. It is very good for playing with dynamic options, because it will appear when you interact with NPC and characters for the main story or side mission.
Being dynamic, that means that it will only display the speaker’s subtitles or names in accordance with the context (there are characters that I do not know what their names are because the name of their speaker never appeared).
Below are images taken from the Ubisoft site, about the accessibility feature at Far Cry New Dawn (I don’t have it, but I have heard great things about it). This is where you can see why the option to breakpoint feel a setback.

There is no sound subtitles on breakpoint, as you can see when you compare the menu for new Far Fajar and Breakpoint.
Sounds such as animals, explosions, helicopters, etc., missed in dynamic options, which are relevant in this game, because there are crafts and hunting elements into it (similar to the Far Cry series, where you have to hunt animals to harvest the skin and harvest there.
Unfortunately, the direction/localization of the sound is a mess in all places.
There were many moments I became afraid of loud sounds, which made me think that I had someone on my side, but seeing minimap, they were actually at least 50 m away. It is also difficult to determine where the sound comes from, because sometimes they seem to only come out only in front of or behind you and never from your side. I also have a time where a man is very close to me, but it seems his voice is very far from me. So because of the inconsistency, it is difficult to rely on it. I am not sure whether it was upgraded with this new patch because I haven’t played.
Although not always the option for subtitles, the freedom to adjust the size and background of the subtitles is very impressive. It also surprised me that they changed the background between the closed beta and the release. Initially it seemed like a kind of striped background, while now it is solid black with a blurred edge, which in my experience is much better (because I also have astigmatism, lines can cause headaches because each eye has a different axis for this, which can be rotated.
Now Settings for Text Chat:

Once again, this is very adjusted, however, I miss having a preview option for the background option of the text, the default option is rather transparent and you can easily pass the message, so I have to enter the number, close the menu, the chat test, then open it again, try other numbers and so on until I get a number that functions for me.
Something that I appreciate is having an option to fully adjust the HUD (I did not put a screenshot from the settings here because this is a big list), however, I took a screenshot while playing coop to show how it could be amazing to have all the information all the time. I have changed the settings so that only a few info that continues on my screen while others are in a dynamic option, which means it will disappear according to context (for example, if I run or sit while looking at the scope to examine the enemy and so on). The second screenshot shows how it can be minimalist. You can make it more minimalist than I made.

For example, the way the presence of the enemy was highlighted in the minimum is a blessing for me, because I don’t need to continue to worry if I will find the enemy right in front of me. If you have not identified them in a certain way, it will appear as a red blurry area, so I can avoid it or look for these areas with the scope of my sniper and try to find everything (and red will disappear once all enemies have been identified/marked).
Another thing that is disappointing to me, because of how misleading: the speech-to-text options. I think it is a feature that is also intended for deaf players and hoh, because how functions are explained (the picture below):

However, after researching, I know that in fact it is just a typical-text speech: it will write down what you are talking about. So, yes, it can be described better to reduce confusion (and I am not the only one who is confused by what I see on Twitter).
I noticed that there was a strange bug that happened to it, because even though my microphone was muted, it was still typing a few words when I typed the chat. Maybe some disturbances from games or voice chat? It also did not work well when I played in Coop.
Another disappointing feature, at least for me, is Ping. I am very accustomed to the rainbow system of six ping sieges, where you can ping something/somewhere and ping will be clearly distinguished from the others (due to bright yellow) and remain a little longer, while in Breakpoint, it does not seem to stay more than a few seconds and not easily recognized because of blue, very similar to the Rammate icon. So it can easily disappear in action. In R6, it is part of the communication system with my friends (so they can quickly warn me if they hear or see something), but I don’t see how it is possible to be used as a communication tool on breakpoint. I hope they increase this feature so that it is better to distinguish from other backgrounds and icons.
Now it becomes a little nitpicker, I hope there are more visual cues for non-fought moments, such as indications of the direction of the sound of cars that come or the sound of animals and so on. So far I have only seen visual cues from the direction of the shot, which is a big red arrow (as you can see below), and in the middle of the action with many shots and grenades, having red arrows continues to blink in various regions bringing me to some confusion and even makes me think it is actually a granade warning. It can also be easily missed if you have a red area on the ground (which indicates the area of mortar impact) simultaneously.

I also think that helicopters, drones, and aircraft do not have adequate visual cues (which apparently, Far Cry New Dawn has a visual sign from the sound and brief description of them), I will only realize there is one because of the visual signal detected/seen by them. Even playing in voice, I will only realize a little late that there is one that flying above me, because as I mentioned, the sound localization is rather confusing and unreliable.
Apart from all those points (and I sound a little negative about the game), they are very specific and most of them are I become Nitpicker. This game is very good in many ways, because it still offers accessibility, it’s not a game that doesn’t offer anything at all. There is an improvement and a little setback compared to Far Cry Dawn. And what helps a lot in games like breakpoint is the fact that you can play it as you like, so if I want to play as a sniper and have an assault rifle for close battles, I can. But it also offers the possibility of playing quietly, or just full of attacks and so on. This is very helpful for gameplay, because I don’t have to adjust my gameplay to the game, not to mention that you can choose the level of difficulty and still choose to enter or exit have a guided mode. I really like the breakpoint exactly because I can adjust as much as possible from HUD and difficulties and still play what I want.
