Introduction
Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated titles for this year. Developed and issued by CD Projekt Red, Cyberpunk 2077 is a video game game game role that occurs in the landscape of a futuristic city called Night City. Here, we can immerse ourselves into a complicated story as a mercenary army named V. This game includes a deep narrative, detailed RPG elements, and a vast open world. This game will be released on December 10, 2020.
Considering the main hype around it Cyberpunk 2077I am very happy to finally have my hands on it and can now share how accessibility from the Low Vision perspective. But even though this game promises attention to details, accessibility needs to work.

Arrangement
On the main menu, the problem is immediately seen for low vision accessibility. I can’t use an enlarger to read content in the game because my enlargement is trapped in the middle of the screen.

From here, the configuration process is very tiring. To pass the main menu, I have to use my cellphone camera to read the option and configure the minimum settings that are possible to optimize the experience of my players. Dark and red text colors don’t help at all.

Even when I was able to pass the main menu, I spent the time wasted to start a new game because I couldn’t read anything on the screen. I only pressed the first few options on the left, hoping I chose easy mode. I play all my games on normal difficulties, but because the game does not allow me to read it, I feel that easy mode is a safer choice.

Gameplay
After I run the game, our first task is to make the car function, which in my opinion is easy to do. One great thing about Cyberpunk 2077 is an indicator in the world, especially if you use a hack display. It made the background darker, which allowed me to see the search mark. What’s more, it’s good to see signs and manual booty. By completing this task, you must choose what to answer to a man. Once again, there is no way to do it. I just pressed the F button at any time.

After this conversation, we must drive. I found myself using the hacking appearance to see indicators in the world, because contrast made indicators visually appearing on my screen. With this, I can drive in the game quite easily. This map is also very good, at least in the beginning that I did not unlock anything. The search marker is very easy to see and tracked. The two examples below are (1) without hacking display and (2) with hacking display.

Players also place manual markers on the road to help you know where they have to turn away, which is very helpful when we have several rounds to be taken. Personally this can all be done for low gamers vision / blind because of hacking views.
After driving for a few seconds, I have to do the first tutorial. I believe that this tutorial is the most confusing I have ever had.

First, this game asks players with what we need to do. But to move forward with a tutorial, you must read the instructions placed on the lower left and right left of the screen to find out which button should be pressed and which action should be taken.
It takes a lot of efforts to pass through the first two parts of the tutorial. In my experience, I found that I had to guess what to do, where I would press one button, then press the other, finally get the correct input. The allegations involved in this matter made me panting.
That doesn’t help that every time you fail, it makes an effect that makes me dizzy because of animations like mistakes, which start the entire level again. What made him worse was for me, I was left to sit on the sofa I wondered how I failed. What has happened? Where is the feedback? That’s a terrible feeling.

In the end, I had to wait for the help of vision, so that I could continue to review the game. But even later, but it is still confusing for other players who helped me.
After digesting my sincere sadness and frustration, I returned to carry out my first mission. To be honest, when I play Cyberpunk 2077I’m not sure about what purpose I have to do. The game continues to talk about the target, but as someone who is low in vision, the information presented to me is unclear.

In the end, I was able to fight several enemies and somehow succeeded in achieving the target. Apparently, I had to go to the elevator and bring it to another floor. However, I finally spent at least 15 minutes before I found out that I had to press the T button to take actions, which were talking, I was still not sure what I was doing.

Finally, I have to go to another elevator, but even though I do everything I know to go forward through the game, I am jammed. To be honest, I might use all my keyboard keys and still, there is no way for me to know exactly what to do. I felt frustrated, and in the end I made the decision to end my game.
The mind concludes
Based on my experience, Cyberpunk 2077 cannot be accessed by blind gamers / low vision.
Still, not everything is bad. Objective indicators in this world are good, especially when used in a combination with the appearance of hacking-even though they are only really seen in dark places.

However, there is no way to navigate in any menu. This game is a RPG with many texts and information. And if you have disability related to vision, it is not possible to play when your enlargement is trapped in the middle of the screen. Even if I can use an enlarger to read some information, I will not be able to read all the descriptions of weapons/abilities because currently presented in a floating box, making it inaccessible.

So to summarize, I regret saying that Cyberpunk 2077 is a game that must be avoided by blind players. Hopefully, the Projekt Red CD will consider making changes, if not because of this title, every future game developed by the studio.
But in the meantime, it still hurts to go to the future and feel like I go back to the past.
